Lucas Quínamo aka Quínamo is the one who gifts us with our first EP in 2020. Composer, sound designer and music producer, he is known for his authorial works and his live P.A. Born in Vitória - Espírito Santo, the artist currently lives in Campinas - São Paulo, where he joins Ballet Fractal and Descompasso collectives.

“Quintal Nervosa EP” is the materialization of Quínamo’s experience during 2019, living in his previous house where he had a studio. Throughout a time of troubled politics, this EP was created under convergence between altered moods and personal crisis, exploring the relation between the place and people surrounding him - just as the plants and white flowers that were born under the crushed stones and aloes from his backyard.

With three original songs, this piece also contains a remix by Cardso. The EP explores the diverse possibilities in acid house, and the melodic bass with resonant filters pop out - just as the spacy chord stabs. The analogic sound obtained through the textures created from granular synthesis is memorable, just as the trippy percussive elements. By his singular style, Quínamo created an acid journey, with the tracks being portals to lisergy.
